PitCam Production is the video label of the moment. The team is pumping fresh and new ideas into the music video and commercial scene. In 2009 the way of making innovative interviews by rock and metal artists of the moment began and continued its success in 2010 putting out numerous highlights by workings with popular and well known artists of the scene like Ozzy Osbourne, Alice In Chains and the popular German comedian Hans Werner Olm. The support of Wacken Open Air, German’s biggest Metal Festival and an important highlight on the schedule of metal fans worldwide, helped spreading the word about the outstandingly good work of the team and pushed it on a higher level of popularity.
The first professional made music video, which was elaborately filmed at various locations in Berlin gained huge renown for the local Berlin band Placenta. As well as the production of a commercial for Def Shop, which had been broadcasted through MTV Germany in September 2010. Autumn 2010 the next step of high professionality was reached by launching the self titled webzine pitcam.tv. At the same time a second music video had been released for the project Jigsaw vs. Hyde which helped spreading the sphere of influence in the Eastern part of Germany. The urban centers of this part of country, particularly Leipzig and Berlin, known for their big influence and support on the metal, hardcore and punk rock scene nationwide, showed their appreciation for the work Pitcam Productions was doing by supporting it massively.
Pitcam Productions represents a bright spectrum of outstanding new ideas. Including the professional mixing of face to face interviews with artists and outtakes from their show Pitcam Productions catches the attention of video viewers as well with interspersed fan questions that have been filmed in advance and brought in coincidence throughout the interview with the artist. This way of interaction gives the artist the opportunity of breaking up the anonymity of written down questions. Being addressed by a personal question of a real fan breaks the ice and often shows a very personal side of the artist as well. On top of all of this Pitcam Productions invented new interview categories like “Bus Cribs” where artists take us to a very private part of their tour life, giving us a deeper look in their own private tour bus, showing tour life behind the stage. Another invention gives tribute to the scene itself that is known for the numerous artists being tattooed. “Behind The Ink” goes deeper by letting the artist presenting his tattoos and telling the story and message behind these inked pictures he’s wearing on his skin.
Pitcam Productions is offering reports of festivals as well as camera supporting on radio interviews or reports and events in numerous genres. Our Team is a pool of young and dedicated professionals heading from various parts in the media branche. PitCam Production ist das Videolabel der Stunde! Dank frischer, unverbrauchter Ideen bringt das Team aus Berlin frischen Wind in die Musikvideo- und Werbeszene.

Mit innovativen Interviews bekannter Rock- und Metal-Künstlern begann 2009 ein erfolgreicher Weg, der 2010 bereits reich an Höhepunkten ist. Unter anderem konnten Ozzy Osbourne, Alice In Chains und Hans Werner Olm gewonnen werden; starke Präsenz beim Wacken:Open:Air 2009 und 2010 sorgte außerdem für steigende Bekanntheit. Das erste professionelle Musikvideo, aufwendig gedreht an verschiedenen Locations in Berlin, brachte der aufstrebenden Berliner Band Placenta großes Renommee ein. Zudem wurde ein Werbespot für Def Shop produziert, zu sehen ab September 2010 bei MTV.
Im Herbst 2010 setzte der Launch des eigenen Webzines PitCam.tv einen neuen Meilenstein. Zeitgleich wurde das zweite Musikvideo (Jigsaw vs. Hyde) veröffentlicht und die Einflusssphäre auf ganz Ostdeutschland, mit den Zentren Berlin und Leipzig, ausgeweitet.

Eine überdurchschnittliche Fülle an Ideen zeichnet die PitCam-Videos aus. So werden z.B. Interviews mit Ausschnitten aus Konzerten und Musikvideos aufgewertet sowie die Künstler mit Fanfragen per Videonachricht und diversen Aufgaben gefordert. Darüber hinaus ist PitCam Erfinder von „Bus Cribs“, einer Interviewrubrik, in der Musiker on Tour einen Blick hinter die Kulissen der Tourbusse gestatten.
Zusammenfassungen von Festivals werden ebenso angeboten wie Kamerabegleitung bei Radiointerviews, Reportagen und Events verschiedenster Art.
Das PitCam-Team besteht aus engagierten jungen Leuten aus den verschiedensten Medienbereichen.
